hello@l3t.io
This policy covers l3t.io and ipam.l3t.io. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In short
- No cookies
- No advertising, no visitor profiles
- Anonymous visit counts with Cloudflare Web Analytics
- Fonts and images come from this server; the only external script is the statistics script from Cloudflare
Hosting by Cloudflare
These websites are delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the data needed to deliver it and to protect it from attacks: your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser's user agent and the page you came from. I don't analyse this data and don't build visitor profiles.
Cloudflare processes the data on my behalf under its Data Processing Addendum. Data may be transferred to the USA and other countries; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis under the GDPR: legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Visitor statistics
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, these sites use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare adds a small script to each page. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across websites. It records the page, the page you came from, browser and operating system, the country derived from your IP address and how quickly the page loaded. I only see totals, never individual visitors.
Legal basis under the GDPR: legitimate interest in knowing how the sites are used (Art. 6(1)(f)). If you block the script, for example with a content blocker, the sites work just the same.
If you write to hello@l3t.io, I use your address and your message to reply. I don't pass them on and delete them once they are no longer needed.
Links to other services
Links to GitHub and Ko-fi lead to other providers, whose privacy policies apply once you follow a link. They only learn which of these sites you came from, not the page.
L3T IPAM itself
L3T IPAM runs on your own hardware. It sends nothing to me or to third parties; what you document in it stays with you. It connects to a UniFi controller only if you set one up.
Your rights
You can ask what data about you is processed and have it corrected or deleted. Write to hello@l3t.io. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, with the data protection authority of your country.
Changes
If the websites change in a way that affects your data, this policy is updated. The date at the top shows the current version.
